Sorry I haven't been around all weekend

Friday -- I spent my entire check at Old Navy! I told myself I just wanted to get a jean skirt and a pair of flip flops for spring break, but 2 pairs of shorts, 2 pairs flip flops, a cardigan, a jean skirt and a ton of shirts later my entire check was gone! we went to my college's talent show and then saw Friday the 13th with Shane and Kim .. it was pretty freaky. I thought that it was really good! As we were leaving some guy made a really racist comment about "white girls" right in front of Kim and I and then he tried to apologize, but he just made it really akward. It was really uncomfortable.

Yesterday was Kasey's birthday! He turned 24!! I had to work all day, but after work we went to the Village Pizzeria and got some drinks and (the best) pizza with Shane, Kim, and Shane's family. I promised myself I wouldn't get drunk or anything because Kim isn't 21 and she can't drink, so I always feel bad getting drunk in front of her .. I know how much it sucked to not be 21 when it seems everyone else is, but by 11 I was buying shots for everyone. Yikes!!!

Tonight we're going to my parents for Kasey's birthday dinner. I made him a cute little cake and I also made smore's bars for a bake sale that I have to run tomorrow and OMG they are the most delicious baked good I have ever eaten!

Sometimes you have to be strong for yourself.
You have to know that you are a good person, && a good friend.
What is meant to be will end up good, && what is not won't.
Relationships are worth fighting for.
But sometimes you can't be the only one fighting.
At times, people need to fight for you.
